1813-1864
Fry is a very early example of an American composer, and if the tales are true, an early employer of the saxophone in an orchestra.
The music which appears on a single Naxos release is all I know of Fry's output, although I know there is a recording or two of these same pieces elsewhere on record.
Is this all that is left, or is there more left to discover?
