Honestly, I don't know all that much about Wolfrum.
I remember hearing some listeners were wishing for a complete recording of his Christmas Mystery many years past. That is how I came to this composer, as his oratorio was finally recorded in 2019.
Otherwise, it looks like there are a few pipe organ sonatas hanging around out there. This might explain his friendship with Max Reger.
In the one work I have heard from him, Wolfrum pulls from late Romanticism, but also with nods to music's past.
